A CAS Baby Card

Today I am showing you a clean and simple baby card.

I guess this one speaks for itself but I will give a short explanation how I made this card.
I used a small embossing border with stars on a white panel. I then added a piece of white satin ribbon across the panel. I added some die cut hearts and stars in blue and white tones. After adding these to the panel I glued a white satin bow on top. I added a few baby blue pearls on the ribbon. And I die cut a blue Baby sentiment from Papertrey Ink to finish the card. I really like how it turned out.

I will be adding this to the following challenges:

A Suzy Zoo Cross Stitch Card

Today I am showing you a cross stitch card made with a lovely frame.

I stitched the design of a sleeping baby Witzy on white Aida 18count Linnen Fabric. I used DMC embroidery floss. I added the stitched piece onto a stitched scalloped rectangle by Spellbinders. I used white crochet lace yarn for the stitching on the frame. I then added everything onto a pastel green base card. This design is so adorable and makes a lovely baby card.

I will be entering this in the following challenges:

Critter Crazy #101 - Anything Animals Goes

Two Slimline Baby Cards

Today I am showing you 2 slimline baby cards. I saw an inspirational photo of a cover for a photo-album that had a bear on a cloud and it gave me the inspiration for these baby cards. Ofcourse a boy and a girl version as I can't help making one of each.

I used digital printed papers of Nitwit Collections of the the Beautiful Baby Boy and the Beautiful Baby Girl collections. I added some tiny clouds popped up onto some foam tape to get the dimension. The largest clouds is from Spellbinders Summer Vacay die set. I just made the width a bit smaller so it wouldn't fit onto the card better. The baby is from Marianne Design COL1479 Eline's Babies. The ribbon die is second hand so I don't know the brand for it.
On the boy version I added a few little stars and on the girl version I added a few hearts. The sentiments are homemade and printed. I then die cut them out with a label die.

I will be adding this to the following challenge:
2 Sisters On The Blog #96 - Baby Card
Girlz Creative Fun Art Of Scrap #8 - Anything Goes Using Design Papers

Two baby cards

Today I am showing you 2 baby cards I made. When I am making a baby card for no one in particular I always make a boy and a girl version. I can't help myself.

I made a fun fold card. It is kind of like a stepper card as you can see from the side. It give more dimension to a card then if I would have place the fence and the grass directly onto the poles of the clothing lines. The background and the patterns I used for the baby clothes are digital downloads from Nitwit Collections. The white fence is from Marianne Design. I made the poles to hang the clothes lines on myself by using a strip die. I rounded the top of the pole with a corner punch. I glued about 3 to 4 layers onto each other to give it the dimension to look like a pole. I think it worked great. The dies for the baby clothes are from My Favorite Things.
The sentiment is homemade by myself. On the back of the card there is plenty of room to write your own personal message

I will enter this in the following challenges:

Two Baby Cards

Today I am showing you 2 baby cards. The card base is white cardstock. The designer paper is from Nitwit Collections from the Beautiful Baby Boy and the Beautiful Baby Girl collection. I used a doily border punch to make that lacy edge. I used the CR1581 text circle die of Marianne Design. The elephant is also of Marianne Design COL1521. For the finishing touch a few pearls in matching colors. Ofcourse I had to make one in pink and one in blue.
