Blog Awards - with sincere apologies for the givers

I received this award back in February, and posted a reply.

I have just noticed that this post had reverted to a draft - **sad face**
so here it is, with apologies to those that tried to find this post back then

I have received this lovely award from Kaye - thank you so much.
In accepting, I understand there are a few little rules...

1) You have been tagged, do you want to accept?
YES! then create a post on your blog and post the love blog photo.

2) Link back to the person who gave you the award and say if you accept.
3) Choose 3-5 of your favourite blogs to tag, link these in your post too and tell the lucky people they have been tagged.

The aim of this award is to bring unknown good blogs to light, therefore, please don't tag somebody with 3000 followers.

Thank you so much Kaye, for thinking of me.

I must confess to having mixed feelings about the various awards that are floating around in blogland, but since the intention of this award is to acknowledge the 'smaller' blogs, I am very happy to receive this one and to pass it on ;-)

I would really like to pass this on to ALL of the blogs I follow - Cardmaking and Quilting - but for the purpose of this exercise I have limited my selection to those who have less than 100 followers.

I would like to pass this award on to the following people:

Cheryll
Sylvia
Tarnyia
Shauna
SueB
CraftyPug

Merry & Kaye - this award is given right back to you ;-)
Annmaree - I would also like to give this award to you (even though you are over 100 followers ;-) )

To say thank you for your wonderful support and hope that your blogs grow up 'big and strong' and may you have many followers sharing lots of liebster ;-)

If any of you do not wish to accept this award, thats OK too ;-)

I have received this award from the lovely Anorina of Samelia's Mum

Thank you so much, it is an honour to be picked.

Part of the terms and conditions of receiving this award include sharing seven facts about myself, that you would otherwise not have known. Are you ready to learn some more idle bits of information about little old me?

  1. My working life started as a sewing machinist in a jeans factory - I then returned to school to be a hairdresser/air hostess and learned how to type as a back-up plan. I now earn a living as a Transcription/Audio Typist.
  2. I am a bit of a loner, and actually enjoy my own company - always have, even as a child.
  3. I usually wake up before 6am - even on the weekends.
  4. I tell myself not to, but I really do care what other people think.
  5. I have learned to never mix friends and large amounts of money - you will lose one or the other, and possibly both.
  6. I grind my teeth when peeling potatoes - how I HATE peeling potatoes.
  7. I really DISLIKE a messy craft/sewing area.

I usually find it so difficult to pass on these awards - the people I want to pass awards onto already seem to have them ;-)

so, I pass this on to everyone who reads my blog (yes, I know I am taking the easy way out ;-) )

and wish to thank Anorina, for thinking that my blog is good enough to single out and give an award to - thank you, thank you.

Blog Award - Circle of Friends

Circle of Friends Award
I am fairly new to the world of blogging - it has been a wonderful diversion to the disappointment and frustration of being unemployed and it has provided a wealth of inspiration for my creative juices.
I have been given this award by Cheryl, of MyCardmakingHaven, and will post it here on my blog with pride. thank you so much, Cheryl!
I agree with Cheryl, it is a wonderful way to communicate with someone that lives in another state, area or even country and hopefully, some lovely friendships will grow over time.
To keep the Circle of Friends going I must do my part and pass it along.....
Here are the rules for this award: To pick up the Circle of Friends Blog Award cut and paste the award logo and use it on your own blog. Nominate 5 other bloggers you feel have become part of your circle of friends. Link to your nominees within your blog post. Include these instructions on how to pick up the award in your blog post. Link back to the person who gave you the award in your blog post, to show your appreciation. Comment on their blogs to let them know they've received the award.
It is so very hard to pick just 5 friends as I have 'met' some lovely people in blogland!
So, I will give this award to some very dear friends that have been around for quite some time ;-) and some very new friends, I hope these friendships continue to blossom! ;-)
Cheryl - right back at ya! It is so nice to receive this award and a big thank you for your support!
Linda & Merry - thank you for your constant support in all facets of my life, not just in relation to my blog.
Bec, Debby & Cassie - thank you for your blog support and wonderful comments.

Two Blog Awards

I have received Two Blog Awards - what an absolutely wonderful feeling!
My awards were passed on by Merry - I would like to send them right back to her, but I know it doesn't work like that. So Merry, back at ya! I thank you for your thank you and Gift of Love ;-).
The first award was orignated by Kellie Winnell Kellie started this award to thank all of the people that follow and comment on your blog. What a wonderful idea. This should be passed on to 5 people. The second award is The Gift of Love Award. There are no specifics for this award you just need to give it to 5 people.
It was a very difficult task to pick only 5 ......... So here are my five people I would like to pass the award on to.... just to say thanks for visiting so often and thank you for your support and encouragement during the early days of my blog - I really have a new love of my cardmaking thanks to you all.
