For Spiritczualic Enhancement Center's sixth album in 8 years, The Deep Sleep of Evil Men presents a free-roaming space western girded by the band’s distinctive and chaotic song structures. Mystical melodies are conjured as the dragon rises from his magnetic slumber, entranced musicians acting as mediums to summon new moments from the world's endless chronicle of sound.

The a-side is a full-length recording of a 2020 performance at Teater Momentum for the Future Sound of Jazz feature at Copenhagen Jazz Festival. This devotional session, recorded in an impenetrable silence, became a favorite for the portal-travelling Enhancement Center -- it calibrated their antennas, giving birth to a signature psyche-surfing ritual. Sweeping from tightly locked-grooves and dissociative siestas, to spaced-out E.S.G.s and ravenous sonic booms, the b-side is a moody journey through the dark reveries of the band's constantly expanding universe.
