{May Has Arrived}

  I sure hope that your May has kicked off to a good start. The heat is settling in quick around our parts.  We've kicked off May with watching our softball girls win the District. Next week we start another round of ball. It's so much fun to watch these girls and especially our girl, Mallory. She plays centerfield.  We were so proud of both teams that played against each other. They all, hand in hand gathered together as one of our girls prayed for the game and also for one of our young men that was in a horrific car accident and fighting. His name is Kaden if you can think to lift him up to our Lord.  I had the opportunity recently to speak to a group of women at a ladies luncheon event at a local church. Oh we had so much fun. I wished I had gotten pictures of the beautiful decorations. We had a TEA PARTY and we each kept the cup that we drank out of it.  Isn't she just lovely? Easter has come and gone but we sure have a great time with family. We gather each...

{May Blessings Photo Dump}

June has crept upon us it seems. Y'all, it's six months until Christmas! LOL!  Wanted to share a few of my May blessings.  We have been blessed with fresh potatoes. We've been able to share some with others and still have plenty. My cucumbers, okra and orange tree was destroyed in the tornado that we took a hit from but what a blessing that we pulled the potatoes before the tornado.  Speaking of tornado it's been a job cleaning up the aftermath. The affects surely done a number on our barn, my shed, a pull trailer and oh our property was in a mess. Huge OLD trees gone! Such a mess but we are beginning to see the light at the end of tunnel with the cleanup. We have been so blessed with our children and friends that have come to help us. God surely had a hedge of protection around us.  Our oldest granddaughter Raygen graduation from College as...

It's already February!

  Good Sunday Afternoon Everyone. I hope your week and weekend has been good to you. We are having some fire place weather in my neck of the woods.  These three little girls enjoyed the roaring fire with hot cocoa today. They have a gas fire place in their homes so they had fun helping papa gather up some wood to build a fire. It sure doesn't take much to entertain the littles in the country.  I have been waiting for a little over a year now for the Taxidermy to have my trophy buck ready and Marty picked him up this week. I was so excited and needless to say that sweet boy is hanging on my wall in my living room. That was a Buck of a lifetime for me. Not sure I will ever forget the excitement of that hunt...or showing the guys up! LOL! Our county has opened up a new little place called Southern Blend Baker and I had to try out the chicken salad that several of my friends raved about. It was delicious! The atmosphere is so nice. The first thing I noticed was Christian...
