The Lament Of Gods is an EP by Greek Black Metal band Varathron, released March 19th, 1999.

Reissued in '04, by Mutilation Productions, in double CD-format. It comes with "Walpurgisnacht" and "His Majesty at the Swamp".

Varathron "His Majesty At The Swamp (Holland, Cyber Music, CYBER CD 8)"

Varathron is a Greek Black Metal band. Varathron is Greek for "extremely deep gorge".

His Majesty At The Swamp is their first album, released August 20th, 1993

Most bass parts were recorded by Necroslaughter even though he is credited only with guitars and Mutilator on bass. Mutilator plays bass only on tracks 5, 6 and 8 ''The Tressrising of Nyarlathotep'' that has appeared on their 1990 demo ''Genesis of Apocryphal Desire'' and their 1992 split with Necromantia ''The Black Arts'' / ''The Everlasting Sins''.

The artwork was taken from the book ''Oasis in Space'' by Jacques Cousteau.
