Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom hat dies geteilt"Just a year ago you were doing your first event together and now you are doing three in one week? That's a big deal!" Rana Rahman 🔜 gamescom just hit me with that, out of nowhere. I've never thought about it in that way, but yeah kind of a big deal. I already forgot it was roughly a year ago. Tabarak Paracha and I were standing at the cocktail party entrance at Gamescom, making sure only people from the list got through. Feels like it was forever ago. Now I am flying to ChinaJoy to support Henry L. and Wei (Rebecca) Yu on the ground. A year ago it was one door, one list, 480 km from home. This year it's three stages, 8,200 km away. Three events at ChinaJoy with Tenjin: We are co-hosting Oasis Club with OPPO Ads, TopOn and Pangle. Also, co-hosting Game Growth Unlocked with SocialPeta Ltd, Youdao Ads, UseePay and Playio | GNA Company. Henry L. is taking the stage at Xsolla Connect Shanghai, presenting alongside Xsolla, RTB House, OEG, Tencent Cloud, Google and Xiaomi Technology. About 500 people across the three events. I'm sure I'll see some familiar faces. Details and posters for all three events are in the comments. In Shanghai for ChinaJoy? Comment below and let's meet up.

Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom hat dies geteiltTenjin just became the first mobile measurement partner where your AI assistant can take action, not just answer questions. Our MCP Server already let you ask your AI assistant about attribution, spend, pLTV, and cohort breakdowns. Good enough to get an answer. But acting on it still meant leaving the conversation and doing the work by hand in the Tenjin dashboard. Today's update changes that. AI assistants can now create, update, and delete campaigns, apps, and S2S callbacks. They can also block, restore, or clear Site ID filters. All without leaving your favorite AI assistant. Every change can run as a dry run first, so you see what would happen before it happens. You can also batch several changes into one request. The easiest place to start is account setup. Add an app, wire up the callbacks, run the SDK integration health check, all in one conversation instead of hopping between dashboard screens. A few examples: "Set up the Tenjin tracking and callbacks for a new Meta Android campaign for app XYZ." "Block Site IDs that produce installs but zero LTV." "Run an SDK integration health check on the new app before we go live." The interesting part starts when different MCPs work together: "Pause creatives with high ad fatigue and replace them with the new batch XYZ." "Create a campaign on AppLovin and do the full setup in Tenjin for app XYZ." I'm excited to see what our community builds with this. Find more details on our blog. Link is in the comments.

Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom hat dies geteiltTenjin is the first MMP to support CloudX ad mediation revenue. CloudX launched into general availability in early 2026 by the team behind Mopub has quickly attracted major mobile publishers looking for a more transparent alternative to established mediation platforms, with dozens more in late negotiations. The problem the integration solves for UA teams: when a user you acquired through a paid campaign generates ad revenue inside your app, that revenue flows through your mediation provider. Your Meta, Unity, or TikTok campaigns don't automatically see it. Incomplete LTV. Incomplete ROAS. A blind spot right where you need clarity most. Impression-level ad revenue now passes directly through the Tenjin SDK, connecting each ad impression back to the campaign that acquired that user. If your app mixes in-app advertising and IAPs, the combined picture becomes especially useful. No more guessing the revenue contribution per cohort. You can and should also forward CloudX data back to your ad networks as revenue callbacks, which feeds your ROAS campaigns on Meta, Unity, TikTok, Liftoff, and Mintegral. Shout out to Christopher Farm Tracy Phan Diego Giraldo Tara Meyer for making this happen. Full details in the blog post, link in comments.

Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom hat dies geteiltMost industry events feel like work with free drinks. Ok, sometimes there is also free food. MAU this year looks different. People fly across the world for it because it's packed with experiences that actually help you get to know people you've been emailing for years. Vegas, three days, no laptop. The industry actually gets to know each other. We gave a taste of that when we threw an epic karaoke night in January alongside ZBD, TapNation, two & a half gamers and adjoe. That left one question: how do we recreate that energy locally in Berlin? Without the flights. Without the hotel. Without the three-day commitment. We started throwing ideas around at Tenjin. My idea of a hike in Brandenburg and an intro capoeira class got politely ignored. Then someone said pub quiz. For anyone who hasn't played: teams compete in a pub by answering rounds of questions across different topics. I made one special rule - you can't be on the same team as someone you know too well. The goal was to make new friends, not hang out with your usual crowd. My dear friend Rachel Reynolds organized everything and hosted the quiz at the same time. Not many people could pull that off - if you know her, you know she is one of them. A big thank you to the first batch of quiz competitors who made it happen: Yury Bolotkin .Eugen Quiring. I-Lun Chung 🔜 AGS Istanbul Kiril Korzh Julie Huang Ashwin Shekhar Polina Fomenko Weiju Pan Tabarak Paracha 🔜 PGC Barcelona Tara Meyer Dimitri Sigov Jeet Thakkar and everyone else who was there 🍺 At the end of the night, almost everyone asked the same thing: when is the next one? And these are people who've seen a lot of industry events. Turns out you don't need Vegas for that. You just need the right format and the right people. Drop a comment if you want to be on the list for the next one.

Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom hat dies geteilt1,000 subscribers 🥳 ROI 101 just hit a new milestone on YouTube. Still fully bootstrapped. Still $0 ad spend. Still only real views and subscribers. When I started this channel, the goal was simple: make mobile marketing less confusing. Our format hasn't changed a bit since we launched. Educational, webinar-style podcasts with guest experts. Topics driven by real questions from Tenjin customers and our ROI 101 community. 1,000 people now find that useful. That's a small number by broad YouTube standards and a meaningful one by mine niche B2B standards. Thank you to everyone who subscribed, shared an episode, or dropped a comment. And to every guest who trusted the show with their time and expertise. This milestone also belongs to every guest who said yes to coming on the show. That's not an exhaustive list, but I tried to include every guest from the past year. Eldar Agayev Ashley Black Matej 🦩 Lancaric Jakub Remiar Felix Braberg Zoriana Omelchuk Nikita Zatsepin Sven Jürgens Mariusz Gąsiewski Marcus Burke 👊 Joseph Kim Steve P. Young Tabarak Paracha Anurag Mohan Jaspreet Bassan Trinh Thai Tracy Phan Günay Azer Rana Rahman More episodes are coming. More topics to unpack. If you work in mobile marketing and want to nerd out about UA, Monetization, Game Design or AI, ROI 101 is the place.

Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom hat dies geteiltEldar Agayev automates his entire TikTok and Instagram content pipeline with OpenClaw Not "uses AI to help." Fully automates. The agent creates the video, picks the music, writes the text, and schedules the post 24 hours ahead. Eldar just reviews it before it goes live. One video hit 700,000 views and 38,000 likes. Some of the follow-up videos - posted 100% by his agent - are pulling 1,000-2,000 views within days. The setup: OpenClaw running on a private server. It uses "skills" from a community hub with 11,000+ published abilities - video editing, image creation, social posting. He built a custom skill that defines the exact video format he wants, but gives the agent creative freedom within that structure. The business model is simple. People watch the video, see "made with Space AI app" in the caption, search for it in the App Store, download it. ~0.1% conversion from views to installs. Low - but the production cost is near zero, so the math still works. Once his TikTok hits 1,000 followers, he adds a bio link and uses Tenjin link. More details: - Eldar runs one agent with multiple sessions, not multiple agents. Cheaper, easier to maintain, same shared memory across all sessions. - He always reviews content before it goes live. Even though he could automate QA with another agent, he doesn't want to wake up wondering what his agent posted overnight. - 50 pieces of content a day. ~1 hour of human oversight. Full episode in the comments 👇

Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom hat dies geteiltJakub Remiar showed us how to produce thousands of ad creatives via AI. Now here is the framework that will help you test those creatives. I've invited the author of the (Ad Creative) Bible himself: Matej 🦩 Lancaric Ad creatives became THE ultimate lever that will make or break your app installs. You need to catch up, successful publishers test thousands of creatives per month. Matej shared how exactly he does when testing creatives 🎯 AI is important but nothing replaces your experience that turned into intuition Before spending a dollar, Matej eyeballs creatives using the "boring test" and "so what" test. 📱 Ad networks treat creatives differently. Facebook = Strong hook + killer middle section. 80% of users bail before the end anyway. AppLovin = Strong CTA at the end. Users watch the FULL minute, then hit your playable. TikTok = Burns through content in DAYS. You need new ad groups with 8 videos almost every other day. More in the full Tenjin ROI 101 video Comment CREATIVES and I'll send the link.

Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom hat dies geteiltThat's the first question you should ask yourself when launching a new business. How MUCH are we going to make? Brace yourself! Michal Tomčány is back on Tenjin ROI 101! Last time he came to visit, we got a TOP 3 video on the channel. In this episode, he is proposing to do something as blasphemous as starting to develop games in Google Sheets. Powered by Sven Jürgens brilliant LTV calculator, we headed out into uncharted waters of data modeling. Unit economics isn't sexy. It's not as fun as designing gameplay loops or creating art. But it's the difference between shutting down in 6 months and building something that lasts. Here's what Michal suggests doing in the spreadsheet before coding: ✅ ASSUME everything at the start ✅ BE WRONG ✅ AIM HIGH with your IAP pricing Then work backwards. Plug in the numbers. See if your game can hit those targets. If something doesn't add up, you have two options: → Change the model → Change your game Turn Assumptions Into Facts This is where most teams fail. They assume, launch, and hope for the best. The winners? They test. They measure. They iterate. Below is the PDF that Michal prepared for the video. Comment UNIT to get the link for the video.

Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom gefällt dasRoman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom gefällt dasMeet Kübra Gündoğan, Co-Founder and CEO of Loom Games. The latest gaming unicorn from Türkiye, makers of Pixel Flow, that you all know now. Together with her co-founder Emre, who is usually somewhere behind the scenes building the next thing, they worked tirelessly for the last six years to get where they are today. And I can tell you this. They totally deserved it. The industry got to know them after their huge success. I personally met Kübra at our first on-site event in Istanbul, back in January 2022. Their studio was already getting interest from publishers back then. The giant background behind me is their famous title, Twisted Tangle. You know the story of that one. Media romanticized their success like everything happened in 6 months. But this is a studio that has been working day and night since 2019 to be where they are today. Blood, sweat, tears, resilience. All of them are real in this story. Twisted Tangle, Pixel Flow. Two hit games is not chance. It is a system they built to make good games. Kübra attended Mobidictum events from day one, supported our activities, and they even had a booth at the conference. I guess you can come to the events and still make a unicorn? I am genuinely happy for them, especially because I witnessed their story firsthand through all our events. Unfortunately, Kübra will not be visiting Mobidictum this year. Now her duty is to make Loom Games 10x bigger from this stage. Congratulations to both founders and the whole team.

Tenjin and RevenueCat are hosting a proper pub quiz, in cooperation with skool.com/ship, and it's what a #Shipaton week needs: good people, good beer, and just enough competitive spirit to make it interesting. It's NOT a quiz about mobile apps or subscriptions. It's general trivia, so nobody's expertise gives them an unfair edge. Everyone starts even. Come with your team. Come alone and recruit at the bar. Either way, you'll meet new people who understand your strong feelings about paywalls. 🚪 Doors at 18:00 🏁 Quiz starts at 19:00 📅 Tomorrow, September 17 Prizes for the winners. Pints for everyone. And, probably a few connections worth keeping. Spots are limited, so grab yours before the room fills up. 🍻 🔗 Link in comments.

Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom gefällt dasRoman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom gefällt dasIt's been five years since I wrote my first piece of published journalism for PocketGamer.biz. My journey into B2B began with news of the iPhone 13, freshly revealed at the time. Half a decade later, we're on the iPhone 18 and Apple's first foldable: the iPhone Duo. Plenty more has changed for me in those five years. In 2021, I was midway through university and we were still in the throes of the pandemic; I actually had COVID during my remote interview with Dave Bradley, and recall loading up on medicine beforehand, determined to keep to the interview and land the job. Thanks for taking a chance on me, Dave! Since then, I've graduated, been through a couple of job titles, and found myself a comfortable spot in a data niche for the site. I take on plenty of interviews compared to those early days too (thanks to everyone who pitches me ideas!) 📢 Five years in the B2B business and almost 2,500 articles later, I've had the privilege of working closely with colleagues Paige Cook, Craig Chapple, and Isa Muhammad. And, one big benefit of journalism is getting to work, interview, and collaborate with so many people from a range of companies, too: Anthony Devenish, Emily Pestell, Phil Williams, Veli Kiviaho, Harsh Rodrigo, Jenny Xu, Sarah Georgiakakis... The list goes on! So, that's five years accomplished. Now I'd best get back to my next article 😆

Roman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom gefällt dasRoman Garbar 🔜 Gamescom gefällt dasMany online users are ok with ads.... ...as long as they get something in return... There is more and more good data around it. Very interesting data about that topic was created in the middle of 2026 by Statista Consumer Insights Global Survey. I think that data gives good insights how to approach ads monetisation (ie in games and apps) in many countries: Based on that data we can see: ➤ in general users from Emerging Markets like: Thailand, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia are much more ok with ads (as long as they get free content in return) vesus users from Western Markets ➤ in general users from Western Markets like: Switzerland, Austria, Japan are much more often annoyed by online ads than users from Emerging Markets ➤ there are some markets like South Korea where users are ok with ads, although probably at the same time they have high quality requirements (plus probably they get a lot of ads) so monetisation via ads has strong potential on one side, although requires a lot of preparation too... Any thoughts? :)
