The New Banalists Orchestra - Mammon (2011)

En esa antigua red social llamada Facebook, en un grupo sobre Crass alguien compartió un video señalando que en los 26:40 aparece Steve Ignorant junto a Current 93 en una presentación en vivo. Luego busqué la participación de Steve Ignorant (como "Stephen Intelligent") para volver a escucharla. Es una canción fuertísima y comparte algunas líneas con Behind the Rose (Fields of rape) de Death in June. Me gustan estas relaciones...

La cuestión es que buscando aquello me topé con un artículo que decía «Members of Crass, the Pop Group, Killing Joke, PiL, and Current 93 are the New Banalists Orchestra». De Crass no está Ignorant pero si Penny Rimbaud y Eve Libertine... En fin, si supiese inglés creo que lo podría disfrutar mas del disco ya que es principalmente gente hablando con músicas ambientales, orquestales y/o experimentales.

Penny Rimbaud - Christ's Reality Asylum (2020)

"Written and published as a journal of dissent in 1977 by Penny Rimbaud before the formation of anarchist tricksters Crass, ‘Christ’s Reality Asylum’ became the template for much of the socio-political attitudes of the band. Crass’ first album, ‘The Feeding of the Five Thousand’, included a short section of the journal, going under the title of ‘Reality Asylum’, which led to immediate interest from the authorities."

El año pasado publicó un ep llamado War & Peace con versiones de Bob Dylan y George Harrison.
