I am an early-career researcher with a focus on molecular cancer biology, RNA biology and bioinformatics. I am passionate about integrating computational and experimental approaches to study gene regulation and biomarker discovery.

Uncovering DNA Methylation Signatures in Breast Cancer: An In-silico Approach – Omic Codeathon ASBCB Project (2025)

  • Participated in the Omic Codeathon organized by the African Society for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (ASBCB) as part of team brcamethyl.
  • particapated in Conducting integrative analysis of WGBS, RNA-Seq, and ATAC-seq data to uncover DNA methylation signatures in breast cancer.
  • Participated in Identifying differentially methylated regions (DMRs) and linked them with gene expression to explore potential regulatory mechanisms.
  • Managed version-controlled workflows and contributed to documentation and reproducibility efforts.

Cancer miRNA Biomarkers – Master's Project (2024–2026)

  • Investigating the role of microRNAs (miRNAs) as diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for cancer.
  • Integrating bioinformatics tools for differential expression analysis with experimental validation .
