FHIRgate is a non-diagnostic technical demonstrator of HL7 v2 → FHIR (ISiK) mapping and conformance validation.

• Intended use: education and demonstration of interoperability tooling — parsing HL7 v2 ADT messages, mapping to ISiK-profiled FHIR R4, and checking conformance with the official HL7 validator against the gematik ISiK Basismodul.
• Not intended for diagnosis, triage, treatment decisions, or any clinical use; not for processing real patient data; not connected to live TI / PACS / RIS systems.
• Data: synthetic / fictional only. Any resemblance to real persons is coincidental.
• Not certified: FHIRgate is not gematik-certified software and makes no conformance guarantee — it reports what the official validator reports.
• Terminology: value-set / terminology checks are intentionally relaxed (-tx n/a) because several code systems (e.g. SNOMED CT) are licence-gated in Germany; coded elements therefore surface as non-blocking warnings rather than errors.
• AI explanations: the optional Claude-generated explanations are advisory only and never change the conformance verdict.
