"Following up on this discussion —

I have done a complete analysis of the
AxxSolder firmware and C120/AM120 tweezer
support is very feasible:

Firmware changes required (~40 lines):

1. main.h — add C120 to enum handles:
   enum handles { NT115, T210, T245, No_name, C120 }

2. tip_profile.c — add default profile:
   kp=6.0, ki=5.0, kd=0.4, max_i=200
   power_limit = 65W (C210 class)

3. main.c — add TC compensation:
   Coefficients similar to T210 ←
   same thermocouple family, steeper Seebeck

4. Handle detection:
   C120 wires both heaters in parallel
   = half resistance vs C210
   = station detects as No_name or new C120 type
   = needs H_sense threshold adjustment

Why C120 PID differs from T210:
Two heaters in parallel = half resistance
= double current at same voltage
= much smaller thermal mass
= faster response needed
Ki=5.0 (vs T210 Ki=4.0) ← more integral ✅
Kd=0.4 (vs T210 Kd=0.3) ← more damping ✅

Also working on 4-channel handle switch
extending Arnaud's HF18FH relay design
with true JBC pre-heat behaviour via
NC contacts — no extra hardware needed.

Would be happy to submit a PR for C120 support.

I saw you posted some experiments regarding the tweezer support on Discord. Will you be making a new revision of the hardware or will it remain a hardware addon? I already have JBC irons, and it would be a good reason for me to get your hardware if there was tweezer support. But I am a bit curious about the timeline. From your post I understand that the firmware changes are already in place.
