Third-Party Licenses

Sign2Voice uses the following third-party components under their respective licenses. The MIT license (see LICENSE) applies only to the original Sign2Voice code in these directories:

  • App/
  • Service/
  • Config/
  • Storage/
  • Common/
  • Debug/
  • Docs/
  • Core/Src/menu.c, Core/Src/ui_overlay.c, Core/Src/freertos.c, Core/Src/main.c
  • Core/Inc/menu.h, Core/Inc/ui_overlay.h, Core/Inc/lv_conf.h
  • MDK-ARM/finaltest.sct
  • HARDWARE/MP3/mp3.c

All other files are governed by their original licenses as listed below.

STMicroelectronics X-CUBE-AI

Note for Redistribution

If you fork or redistribute Sign2Voice, you must:

  1. Keep LICENSE_X-CUBE-AI.txt with any distribution that includes X-CUBE-AI/ or Middlewares/ST/AI/.
  2. NOT re-license the X-CUBE-AI components under MIT or any other open-source license — SLA0044 prohibits this.
  3. Include this THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md file.

You may replace the X-CUBE-AI runtime and model with your own AI inference engine and model to create a fully MIT-licensed derivative.
