Because

  1. CBIIT requires us to use user name "edrn" with user ID 26013 in the container and
  2. Docker doesn't provide a way to undo a "VOLUME" command in basis images
  3. The Plone base image creates the user "plone" with user ID 500
  4. And also sets the ownership of files & directories in /data to "plone"

we have to re-do everything Plone does because, even though we can add and even run things as "edrn" in a derived image, the "VOLUME" command means nothing we do to /data takes effect.

Because
