Chat2Geo started as an open-source prototype for AI-assisted geospatial analysis. This repository preserves that early version for historical reference, research, and developers who previously relied on the MIT-licensed code.

The current Chat2Geo product has moved beyond this repository and is no longer developed in public. It includes newer features, production infrastructure, reliability work, integrations, and commercial capabilities that are not included here.

This early version provided a ChatGPT-like interface for remote-sensing-based geospatial analysis. It used Google Earth Engine and related geospatial tooling to support workflows such as:

This project relied on Google Earth Engine. Google Earth Engine has its own terms, quota limits, eligibility rules, and commercial-use restrictions. Anyone using this legacy code is responsible for ensuring their own compliance with Google Earth Engine and all other third-party service terms.

This repository is kept public so prior users can understand the history of the project and so the original MIT-licensed snapshot remains accessible.
