I'm Kelsey, an immuno-oncology postdoctoral researcher based in NYC.
- 🔭 I'm working in the Dmitriy Zamarin Lab using multi-omics sequencing data and high-resolution spatial profiling of ovarian cancer tumors to identify patients who will respond to immunotherapy treatment
- ✏️ I'm teaching The Umbrella Academy, a 10-week course I created to teach dry lab skills to wet lab scientists (because an ☔ keeps you dry when it's wet, get it?)
- 🗽 I'm leading the NYC Postdoc Night Science Club to nurture creativity and collaboration in early career scientists
- 🌱 I'm learning how to optimize Nextflow pipelines for my projects, with a focus on ultra-low coverage whole genome sequencing and multiparameter immunofluorescence data
- 🎓 PhD from New York University, MS from Columbia University, BA from Sarah Lawrence College
- 📄 My most recent manuscript, out now in Nature Medicine, shows that mitochondrial DNA influences response to immune checkpoint inhibitors in melanoma.
