Additional parameters in Invoke-AppDeployToolkit.ps1 #2058
|
Is it possible to add additional parameters? I tried, but when Open-ADTSession is started, it validates provided parameters and my parameter is failing the function, it is treated as unbounded argument. Why I ask about it, in old PSADT 3.7 we have a parameter for REGION or AppStore, if such parameter is having value, different set of values is used inside the script. In this way we do not need to create separate installer for each region, but we force script to use different set of values for each region provided as parameter. The same for AppStore parameter, when provided, behavior of script is different, we run script in this way that it is semi-interactive, open-app-checks are done, welcome prompt with APPs closure is displayed but there is no finish message of progress message. Any hint how can we workaround it in PSADT 4.1.x???? |

Hi Guys, Any thoughts according to my question? |

I'm terribly sorry @mjr4077au I retested again with String parameter EYRegion and Switch parameter TestJD Maybe I used forbidden name of my additional parameter first or I did a mistake in my test script. I'm sorry again, you can close this question. |

All works fine, no issue with both parameters provided during direct PS1 execution from VSCode, from PS session and through Invoke-PSAppDeployToolkit.exe
Maybe I used forbidden name of my additional parameter first or I did a mistake in my test script.
