Welcome to piano! This is a simple browser-based piano that lets you play your favorite tunes directly from your computer. No installation is required. Just open your browser and start creating music.

To get started, visit this page to download the latest release: Download Releases. Here’s how to do it:

1. Click on the link above. You will be taken to the releases page.
2. Look for the most recent release version.
3. Click on the file that suits your system (for example, if you have instructions for running in Docker, click on the Docker option).
4. Follow the prompts to download the file.

After downloading, follow these steps to run the application:

1. Open your browser (Chrome or Firefox works best).
2. Navigate to the downloaded file location.
3. If you downloaded a Docker file, ensure Docker is installed on your system. If not, you can find easy installation guides on the Docker website.
4. Open the terminal (Command Prompt on Windows, Terminal on macOS).
5. If using Docker, type:

   docker-compose up
   

6. Wait a few moments until Docker sets everything up.
7. Open your browser and go to http://localhost:3000.

You're now ready to play! Press the piano keys displayed on your screen, or connect a MIDI keyboard for more fun.
