💥 Welcome to the PrimePoobah GitHub Multiverse

Stars Last Updated License Pi-hole v6 Compatible Curated Monthly

Welcome, meatbag! I’m PrimePoobah — your tour guide through this chaotic digital playground. This is where I stash my scripts, configs, questionable experiments, and other nerdy treasures that future historians will use to determine exactly when I went off the deep end. Enjoy responsibly.

🚀 What’s in the crates?

1. Profile Configs Repo

PrimePoobah/PrimePoobah
This repo. The one you’re looking at.
🔧 Purpose: It holds my GitHub-profile config files, small utilities, readmes, and general “yeah I might need this one day” stuff.
✨ Highlights:

  • A guide on reclaiming disk space in Ubuntu under Proxmox.
  • A tip-list on crafting better GPT prompts (yes, I talk to machines too).
  • Python scripts for exporting your beloved (or cursed) media library from Plex into Excel.
  • A placeholder for future HomeAssistant automations (shh… I’ll get there).

2. SSL/HTTPS Setup for Pi-hole v6

PrimePoobah/Pihole_V6_Lets_Encrypt_SSL_Setup_Script
Because your ad-blocking fortress deserves a nice tuxedo.
🔐 Purpose: One script to rule them all — auto-configure HTTPS on your Pi-hole (v6.x), whether it’s on bare-metal or Docker.
🎯 Features:

  • DNS API-based validation across numerous providers (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, AWS, etc.).
  • Docker support (if you containerize your network like a true network-master).
  • Auto-renewal of certs because remembering is overrated.
  • Shell script sass. (Yes, I wrote jokes into bash.)

3. Plex Media Export Tools

PrimePoobah/PlexScripts
Your media hoard, exposed. And yes, guilt-trip included.
📊 Purpose: Python scripts to export your Plex library to Excel, complete with colour coding and completeness tracking (your movie bingeing is under the microscope).
💥 Why you’ll (maybe) love it:

  • Track your movies and TV shows like a spreadsheet-obsessed cult leader.
  • See what you’ve watched. What you haven’t. What you may regret.
  • Configuration via .env so you don’t have to edit the code (unless you like pain).

🔍 Why bother?

Because automation is sexy, configuration is art, and spreadsheets… well, spreadsheets are my therapy.
Whether you’re trying to free up space in Ubuntu, make your Pi-hole fortress bullet-proof, or catalog your Netflix-leftovers, there’s something here for you. (Or maybe just for me. Either way.)

📚 Contributors & How To Play Nice

  • Fork the repo.
  • Create a branch: feature/you-made-it-fancy.
  • Commit your changes: “Made Deadpool jealous.”
  • Push it.
  • Open a pull request.
  • I’ll review it… while eating chimichangas.

Yes, that’s basically it.

✍ License Stuff (Legal Mumbo-Jumbo)

Each repo has its own license.

  • The Pi-hole script: MIT.
  • The Plex tools: AGPL v3.0.
Use it. Share it. Don’t break everything.

🙏 Thanks For Dropping By

You found your way here — good job, intrepid coder.
I hope you find something useful. Or at least something that makes you smirk.
If you star any of the repos, I’ll wink. If you don’t, I’ll still wink. Because I’m me.

Stay weird, stay curious, keep automating.
