A GUI app that reads the contents/text of any file. Including photos, videos, audio, etc.

You can download a version in the releases page.

1. Download and unzip the zip folder called file-reader.zip
2. Open the exe file in the unzipped folder
3. If you get a pop-up saying the exe might be a virus, just run it anyway

This is not a virus, so it is safe to install.

You need a JDK installed on your device to open the jar file. Here are a couple ones to choose:

• Amazon Correto
• Azul Zulu
• Eclipse Adoptium Temurin
• IBM Semeru Runtimes
• Microsoft's openJDK
• Oracle GraalVM
• Oracle Java SE
• Red Hat's openJDK
• SapMachine

Once you installed a JDK, download the jar file and open it.

This repository contains the MIT license. You must give credit if you are going to use its source code.
