Substitute is an improved version of the vpMobil app, based on Indiware. Developed to make school life easier for students, Substitute offers a modern and user-friendly interface as well as a variety of useful features.

5. ⭐ Multiple Favorite Classes: Save multiple classes as favorites for quick access.
6. 📚 Course Selection: Hide Courses you don't need to see.
7. 🔔 Notifications: Receive push notifications for changes in the substitution plan.
8. 📲 Share Login Credentials: Share your school/class credentials with others via QR code(App-only).
9. 🔤 Translations: Available in English and German.
10. ⌚ WearOS App: Basic functions directly on your smartwatch.

Download the apk from the GitHub Releases page and install it or use the website as web app.

Disable Background Updates

By default, the app automatically updates the substitution plan in the background. If you want to disable this behavior, you can restrict battery usage for the app. To do this, navigate to your device settings under Apps > Substitute > Battery and set the option to Restricted.
