Sozo Read is a manga and web novel reader that pulls content from multiple online sources through JavaScript modules — the catalog can grow as new sources are added without needing an app update.

The manga reader supports both webtoon scroll and paged layouts, with left-to-right and right-to-left reading directions, two-page spreads in landscape, and auto-scroll for webtoons. Color filters, crop edges, image quality tiers, tap-zone navigation, double-tap zoom, and volume-key page turns are all built in, and long-pressing a panel lets you save it to your gallery or view it at full resolution.

The novel reader gives you adjustable typography, multiple reading backgrounds (white, sepia, black, system), and volume-key chapter navigation for one-handed reading.

Your library tracks every series with a reading status, and the Home screen surfaces the next unread chapter for each series you're following. New-chapter alerts fire when you open the app. Sign in with a magic link and your library, progress, and history sync across devices. Downloaded chapters keep working offline.

The app ships with selectable accent colors and matching launcher icons, an animated SOZO READ splash, and a full dark theme.
