Multimedia and Intelligent Computing Laboratory (MIC) was founded by Professor Hanli Wang in 2011, which is affiliated to the Department of Computer Science and Technology of Tongji University and the key Laboratory of Embedded System and Service Computing, Ministry of Education, China. Research fields of MIC include image/video coding and computer vision (Image/video recognition, retrieval, caption, reasoning, etc.). In addition, MIC aims to apply image/video coding technology to various image/video understanding tasks for lower computational burden and better prediction performance.
