My MuseScore 4.6.3 still crashes. Is there a way I can just download 4.5 and use that?

Did you uninstall your previous version? That seems to be the root cause of the crash that some people have experienced. Go to Add/Remove Programs, find any previous MU4 versions, and remove them. Then 4.6.3 should work normally.

If not, please open a new issue to report your crash, which is apparently a different one than one already know. Be sure to ZIP and attach the score you are working on, and give precise steps to reproduce the crash. Also if possible, attach the logs you can get by running Help / Diagnostics.

Yes, I did. I have no other versions of MU4. I just double-checked. When I attempt to view one of my scores in MuseScore 4.6.3, I get a message asking if I want to re-open the previous session as it unexpectedly quit. I select no and the sheet music opens and in less than a minute, it crashes.

Then please open a new issue and ZIP and attach your score there.

I'm new to the community. How do I open a new issue? What do you mean by ZIP? It crashes with more than just one particular score. Does it matter?

ZIP is a tool common to all operating systems that allows you to package up groups of files into a single file called a ZIP file that can then be more easily sent by email etc. Do a web search to learn how to find and use the ZIP tool on your computer.

To open an issue, click "Issues" above, then "New issues" and follow the prompts from there.

And if the crash happens for multiple score, just attach one of them. Also, after a crash, start musescore again, but this time instead of opening a score, use Help / Diagnostics to create a diagnostic file (which will also be ZIP format) which will containing additional information about the crash, and attach that as well.

I created a new issue but found I am not allowed to attach the file of the score.
