MILLA is an all-in-one, AI-enhanced image viewer and toolkit that does almost everything you’d want with images – except maybe draw them by hand. MILLA combines a Qt5 image viewer with cutting-edge computer vision and deep learning features. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of image tools, helping you manage, analyze, search, and even create images within one app. If you’ve ever wished for a single program to handle tagging, searching, manipulating, and generating images, MILLA has you covered in a friendly, easy-to-use interface.

MILLA is currently distributed as source code, so you’ll need to build it yourself. Don’t worry – it’s easier than it sounds.
- Install Qt5 and OpenCV a. Note: make sure your QtCreator can compile a Hello world app (i.e., the Desktop Kit is installed and functional)
- Clone the Repo

- Optional Install
sudo ./install.sh
Launch MILLA from the terminal or app menu. You can open image folders, generate AI art, tag images, and more – all in one interface. Features like storyboard mode, duplicate detection, and parametric search make it a full-blown imaging workstation.
- Play with the plugins – there are hidden gems!
