Adds the following changes in order to add HTTP based SSE support

Proper Timeout Handling: Uses a longer timeout for initialization requests but still has a timeout to prevent hanging indefinitely
Content Type Handling: Properly handles both JSON responses and SSE streams that might be returned from initialization.
Also adds heartbeat for SSE
