can't take a screenshot #18397

please help, i've been trying to figure this out for hours! i can't capture frames, i keep getting a "error writing screenshot" messages. the path on the config file is right and the folder i'm trying to save frames into exists. i can't even save to my desktop.

if it matters, i'm working on a new computer and i had the folders and mpv folder inside roaming already, but not the application itself. i downloaded but it kept saving to my desktop, not the folder i created, so i deleted the app and all the folders and reinstalled it. i had to make the mpv folder inside of roaming to put mpv.conf in. i also asked on reddit and someone wrote that because the conf is formatted to the right in might not work, but it still works on my old laptop

please help, i just want to make gifs 😭
