Development tree for a Wireshark dissector for the Gluster RPC protocol


Goals

Teach Wireshark the Gluster RPC protocol to improve potential
troubleshooting on Gluster networking issues.

Learn details about Gluster networking and potentially document the
protocol.


Planned Development Stages

0) read/understand Gluster communication
   DONE: unstand the gluster sources
1) parse Gluster RPC packets on the commandline
   DONE: see the history of this git repository
2) move the dissector into Wireshark format
   WIP: see README.wireshark
3) submit to upstream Wireshark
   TODO: update https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5773
