Support for Angular 22.1 was added in #36521 three weeks ago, but there hasn't been a stable release since then. Angular 22.1 was released one month ago and ~22.0 does not receive patches anymore, so any Nx project that moved to Angular 22 is stuck (in terms of official support, at least).
With Angular moving to a yearly release scheme and v23 being planned for June 2027, I'd be hesitant to move to Angular 22 with Nx falling behind this much.
A similar trend was observed in #35873 for Angular 22 major support, but for minors it's much more important not to fall behind.
