This repository contains a collection of Music, Sound, and Synthesizer programs for MS-DOS 6.22.

The primary feature of this VM are the synths contained in C:\SYNTHS

For reference, these are:

The VM also has a collection of DOS trackers

The VM also contains the MUSIC and SOUND directories from the SIMTEL archive.

The 86Box VM has two soundcards:

1. SoundBlaster 16
2. Gravis UltraSound

Additionally:

• The CuteMouse driver is installed
• The MS-DOS CDROM driver is installed

In C:\AGENT there is a MS-DOS COM TSR program that will inject keystrokes received on COM1 into the BIOS keyboard buffer. This works to issue commands on the CLI, but not to trigger notes on the synthesizers.

You can run this program without arguments: C:\AGENT\SERIAL_I.COM
