Problem: Python libraries are only available locally #552

Open

Description

@yrashk

However, this is very inconvenient for normal application development, as we'd need to set up pip to get the libraries from our repository. Since we have cut releases now, we need to make it easier.

Proposed solution: start cutting and uploading Python library release

One question to figure out is how these libraries are versioned. Should it be tied to the omni_python extension in any way?

The initial gut reaction is "no," as they may evolve just on the Python side without the extension undergoing any changes. However, they need to indicate the range of support for the omni_python extension version.
