Kotlin LSP (intellij-server 262.9593.0) build has expired; no newer release available to pin #2008

Description

The Kotlin language server that Serena bundles/downloads (intellij-server, pinned via DEFAULT_KOTLIN_LSP_VERSION = "262.9593.0" in src/solidlsp/language_servers/kotlin_language_server.py) fails to start because the JetBrains build has self-expired. This makes every Kotlin symbolic tool (get_symbols_overview, find_symbol, find_referencing_symbols, replace_symbol_body, etc.) fail on any Kotlin project.

Confirmed the pin is still 262.9593.0 on current main (commit 701e7c8), and that 262.9593.0 (published 2026-07-27) is also the latest release currently available on https://github.com/Kotlin/kotlin-lsp/releases — there is no newer, non-expired build to fall back to via ls_specific_settings.kotlin.kotlin_lsp_version.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open any Kotlin project with Serena (--context claude-code, LSP backend).
2. Call any tool that requires the Kotlin language server, e.g. get_symbols_overview.

Actual behavior

The intellij-server process starts, then immediately writes to stderr and exits:

This build of intellij-server has expired.
The IDE will now close.
Please download a new build from https://www.jetbrains.com/intellij-server/

Followed by:

Ruled out (in case it's asked): this is unrelated to Serena's project-trust mechanism — the project was already covered by trusted_project_path_patterns, and the failure reproduces identically even after widening the pattern to ** (trust all) and reconnecting the MCP server. The crash happens inside the intellij-server JVM process itself, below any of Serena's Python-level trust checks.

Expected behavior

The bundled Kotlin LSP either doesn't ship time-bombed/expiring builds, or DEFAULT_KOTLIN_LSP_VERSION gets bumped promptly (and ideally automatically/CI-checked) whenever the pinned JetBrains build approaches its expiry date, so users aren't left without any working Kotlin LSP.
