Hi @Dredus , This community is managed by GitHub employees, but it is not a support forum. The only place to go for answers to account-specific questions like this one is opening a ticket on our Support page. This is a public forum, and the community is unable to assist with nor escalate your ticket, but we can assure you it is in the right place. There are an extremely high volume of Support tickets right now, yours will be answered in the order it was received based on the amount of tickets ahead of yours. Please open only one ticket per request. As no other Community Discussions team members will be able to provide additional help with account related questions I am going to close this discussion. We appreciate your understanding and patience while Support works through your request! |

Copilot in GitHub
Body
Dear GitHub Support Team,
I am currently experiencing an issue with my GitHub Copilot Pro subscription and would appreciate your assistance.
My situation:
I have an active Copilot Pro subscription.
I have reached my additional usage limit for this billing period, and there is an outstanding balance for the overage usage.
I would like to either pay off the outstanding balance or upgrade to the Copilot Pro+ plan. However, whenever I try to do so, I receive the following error messages:
"Payment didn't go through — We are having a problem billing your account. Please update your payment information."
"You've reached your additional usage limit for your plan. Upgrade your plan to continue or wait until your credits reset on Aug 1."
The problem:
I have already updated my payment information and tried to proceed with the payment, but the billing interface appears to be stuck. The upgrade or payment option is either not working properly or no longer visible, and I am unable to clear the outstanding balance or complete the subscription change.
What I have tried:
Updating and re-adding my payment method.
Accessing the billing page directly via https://github.com/settings/copilot.
Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue.
My request:
Could you please manually reset or review the billing status of my account so that I can either:
Pay off the outstanding usage balance and keep my current Copilot Pro plan, or
Upgrade to Copilot Pro+ and have the overage charges included in the upgrade cost.
Please let me know if you need any additional information from my side, such as screenshots or billing details.
Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your reply.
