Astronomy Picture Of the Day is an application that uses the N.A.S.A restful api. Displays the picture of the day alongside with a brief explanation from the astronomer who took it! offers an option to Download the image in local storage. Currently supports only still images! In case of video, or a .Gif image it just shows an empty imageView with the corresponding explanation text.
