Thanks for pinning this down to the exact commit and for the clear question, and for carrying the same details into #7041 the next day so there is a full thread to point at. Short answer: the switch is intentional and
import { BedrockRuntimeClient } from "@aws-sdk/client-bedrock-runtime";
import { NodeHttpHandler } from "@smithy/node-http-handler";
const client = new BedrockRuntimeClient({ requestHandler: new NodeHttpHandler() });Checked with Where this comes from on main (0d6310b)

New Relic Node Agent team here. This commit from April 28 mentions adding http2 support to client-bedrock-runtime, but instead replaces the
NodeHttpHandlerwith theNodeHttp2Handler. Has the client-bedrock-runtime library deprecated theNodeHttpHandler, or is this just an oversight?All reactions
