Use NPM to replace dependencies #279

Closed

Description

@pixelbrackets

What did I do?

  • Run npm install to fetch all dependencies

What did I expect?

  • Dependencies are updated in the project right away and merged into dist/js/agendav.js due to the build script eventually

What happened instead?

  • A new build does not contain the latest dependencies fetched with NPM
  • The dependencies in node_modules and assets are not synchronized - instead they need to be replaced manually

Proposed solution

  • Don't update dependencies manually → Replace static library copies in assets with NPM packages / let NPM update these libs

    File web/public/es5-shim.js is copied manually from node_modules too.

    assets/js/other/jquery-ui.js is build using the manually run script assets/js/other/build-query-ui-js.sh which also copies the files from node_modules.
