Landed in 63a9d84, shipping in 0.2. Thank you, @brianteeman — slashtools is a lovely bit of work, and it made the editor noticeably nicer to use the moment it was in.

As discussed, it is on by default with a global off switch in Settings, so nobody who types a lot of slashes is stuck with it. The toggle is read on every keystroke rather than at editor start-up, so flipping it takes effect immediately.

It ended up a port rather than an integration, for the reason you ran into: your plugin loads through TinyMCE's "External Plugin URLs" setting into media/plg_editors_tinymce/, and Grafida has neither that setting nor a writable plugins directory — assets/private/js/tinymce/ is vendored from npm and gitignored, so a file dropped in there would be wiped by the next build. It now lives in assets/private/js/editor/slashtools.js and registers the autocompleter the same way Grafida's other editor features are registered. Your insertActions/fetch/onAction shape survived intact, GPLv3 and credited in the file header.

Four things changed on the way in, three of which are arguably upstream bugs you may want:

The placeholder images are now PNG, drawn on a canvas. This one is Grafida-specific: publishing uploads every inline data: image to the site's Media Manager, and Joomla rejects SVG by default — so a placeholder left in an article would have aborted the publish outright.
"Ordered list" inserts a <ul>. It should be <ol> — plugin.js#L47.
TinyMCE 7 has no h1/h2/h3 icons, so the heading items fall back to a placeholder glyph. Grafida registers its own.
Labels are translated here, so filtering matches English keywords too — and keywords match at a word start, not as a substring, because /ordered otherwise offers the bulleted list first via its own unordered keyword, and the first item is the one Enter picks. That one bit me in testing.
