The following commands are executed by default, but of course they cannot cover all requirements. For example, AMD does not have 2G memory, and there is no requirement to waste memory. Therefore, it is still recommended that you install it yourself, which is also very convenient and fast.

Usage

Download the executable from Release. Note the distinction between amd64 and arm64.

Start a screen on the server, then execute this program, and search for its usage.

Command parameters:

./NeverIdle -c 2h -m 2 -n 4h

in:

-c means to enable periodic CPU waste, followed by the interval between each waste. 12h23m34s if every 12 hours 23 minutes 34 seconds is wasted. Fill in according to the format.

-m refers to the amount of memory to enable wasting, followed by a number in GiB. After startup, the corresponding amount of memory will be occupied and will not be released until the process is manually killed.

-n means to enable network periodic waste, followed by the interval time of each waste. The format is the same as CPU. The Ookla Speed Test will be executed periodically (and the results will be output!)

-t refers to setting the number of concurrent connections that the network periodically wastes. The default is 10. The larger the value, the more resources will be consumed. Generally, it does not need to be changed.

  • Immediately execute all the functions you configure once you start the program, and you can observe the effect. *
