Backend engineer focused on distributed systems and building infrastructure that's actually pleasant to operate.
Tech Stack
- Go — primary language, most of my serious projects live here
- Python — scripting, tooling, occasional service work
- Shell — glue, automation, the usual
- Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres, NATS
What I'm working on
Mostly internal platform tooling — things like deployment pipelines, observability helpers, and CLI utilities that make day-to-day ops less tedious. I tend to gravitate toward projects where the output is "engineers spend less time fighting infrastructure."
Currently exploring
eBPF for low-overhead observability and some deeper work with distributed consensus (reading through the Raft paper again, properly this time).
