Hi there 👋

📈 I'm a quantitative ecologist interested in:

(1) Why we can predict some ecological responses better than others (ecological predictability),

(2) How population demography create macroecological patterns,

(3) How we can use species distribtuion models beyond their usual use case, such as predicting near-term fluctuations in population abundance and demography.

🌍 I was lucky enough to work with exotic species that face unique conservation threats, such as the Egyptian vulture, Adélie penguin, emperor penguin, and benthic communities in the Arctic.

🎓 Here is my google scholar profile and my CV.
