Налаштування драйвера пристрою "Bus 001 Device 002: ID 2808:a658 Realtek USB2.0 Finger Print Bridge FocalTech Fingerprint Device" у debian 13

Оригінальний deb-пакет, з якого я використав бібліотеку, міститься в цьому репозиторії:

Щоб цей сканер відбитків пальців працював у Debian 13, вам потрібно виконати такі кроки:

1. Встановіть оригінальні deb-пакети з оригінальних репозиторіїв debian

sudo apt install fprintd libpam-fprintd

2. Клонуйте цей репозиторій, наприклад, у каталог /tmp.

git clone https://github.com/bro2020/fprint-focaltech.git /tmp/fprint-focaltech

3. Використовуючи root-права (Ця операція є небезпечною, відмовтеся від неї, якщо не довіряєте цьому репозиторію), скопіюйте файли за відповідними шляхами в системі

sudo cp -av /tmp/fprint-focaltech/lib/udev/rules.d/60-libfprint-2.rules /lib/udev/rules.d/
sudo cp -av /tmp/fprint-focaltech/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libfprint-2.so.2.0.0 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/

4. Перезавантажте ноутбук, після завантаження сканер вже працює.

Можливо, це працюватиме і на інших дистрибутивах Linux.

The original deb package from which I used the library is contained in this repository:

In order to get this fingerprint scanner working in Debian 13, you need to perform the following steps:

1. Install original deb packages from the original debian repositories

sudo apt install fprintd libpam-fprintd

2. Clone this repository to the /tmp directory, for example.

git clone https://github.com/bro2020/fprint-focaltech.git /tmp/fprint-focaltech

3. Using root privileges (This operation is dangerous, refuse it if you do not trust this repository), copy the files in the system path

sudo cp -av /tmp/fprint-focaltech/lib/udev/rules.d/60-libfprint-2.rules /lib/udev/rules.d/
sudo cp -av /tmp/fprint-focaltech/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libfprint-2.so.2.0.0 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/

4. Restart the laptop, after loading the scanner is already working.

Maybe this will work on other Linux distributions as well.
