It seems like this was incorrect since it was originally written 6 years ago! It's not noticed because this pipeline is not actively used.

Would you also like to correct https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress-example-kitchensink/blob/master/azure-ci.yml ?

Reference documentation is steps.task definition.

This PR should not have a fix: commit message, which would trigger an unnecessary minor version release. The Azure pipeline is a documentation component only. I suggest to use chore: instead.

You are aright the Parallelized Example (azure-ci.yml) have the same sintaxis error.

These examples are very useful and important wen tray the follow a guides of Cypress Cloud CI-Azure

But the example printed in the Cypress Cloud are different of your examples Cypress Docs

In my opinion is good have many examples, But the Cypress Docs #Azure-Pipelines could be better

I agree with your changes. They will need to be reviewed by the Cypress.io team in USA (I don't have permissions to merge PRs, as I am external).
