Fix and re-enable Scala-Native build (500USD Bounty) #395
Description
From the maintainer Li Haoyi: I'm putting a 500USD bounty on this issue, payable by bank transfer on a merged PR implementing this.

This ticket is to fix the failures in the Scala-Native build (WIP PR here #394) so that we can re-enable publishing for Scala-Native.
Some tests can probably be fixed, others will need to be moved to src-jvm/ to run only on the JVM. Each JVM only test will need an explanation for why it cannot be fixed in scala-native and needs to be disabled for that platform

I realize and appreciate, all to well, that things take time.
I believe that upgrading to SN 0.5.8 and making the small edit to
isExecutable()willallow
os-libto build and run correctly.The light bulb works on my system ;-)

Update:
After Scala Native PR #4383 merges the small edit mentioned above should no longer
be necessary. Details in
os-libPR #394.Short story:

os-libwill then build cleanly with Scala Native and pass tests.My time is severely limited over the Summer, but I will try to do a private
os-libbuildafter the indicated SN PR merges.

ProcessPipelineTestfailed when running Scala Native? Is thatbecause of Scala Versions or do I need to be concerned? Should I try running
that series of tests locally?
