I'm a Software & Systems Engineer in my final year at the University of Portsmouth, with commercial experience across full-stack development, AI/ML integration, and data-intensive applications. I enjoy building things that solve real problems, whether that's enterprise chatbot systems, SaaS platforms, or GPS analytics engines.
I build production-grade systems across the full stack, with experience spanning:
- AI/ML systems β Built and trained models using Amazon Bedrock, integrated LLM endpoints, and created Lambda function agents at Eli Lilly
- Data-intensive applications β Processing millions of records for enterprise clients at Marchex Inc.
- Full-stack web applications β React, Angular, Node.js, C#/.NET, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Real-time systems β WebSockets, Twilio (video/chat), webhook integrations, background job processing
- SaaS product development β Co-founded and sole-built Kevvlar, a project management platform with paying subscribers
- Hardware prototyping β UAV design, IMU-based stabilisation systems for model rocketry
| Role | Company | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Full-Stack Software Engineer | Marchex Inc. | Building data visualisation and call analytics tooling (Angular, C#/.NET), processing millions of records for clients including General Motors. Shipped 35+ features to production. |
| Software Engineer (Placement) | Eli Lilly and Company | Built an AI model on Amazon Bedrock with Lambda agents. Integrated LLM endpoints via Cortex. Contributed to chatbot systems that saved an estimated $4M+ in support costs. 95% bot accuracy. |
| CTO & Co-founder | Kevvlar | Sole developer of a project management SaaS platform, built from Figma designs alongside the CEO/designer. 10 paying subscribers, ~30 active users, 200+ workspaces. Still live. |
| Computing Teacher | Bay House School | Delivered programming lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4. Also taught Python at Ngadi Foundation and game development to 50+ children at Inspire Bootcamp. |

Integrations & Tools
Full-stack GPS analytics application that connects to Strava, takes a runner's GPS data, and matches it against real street maps to tell them exactly which streets they have completed, partially run, or not yet started. Built two distinct matching engines iteratively, improving from ~85% accuracy in V1 to 90% with zero false positives in V2.
Tech: React 19, TypeScript, Node.js, Express 5, PostgreSQL, Prisma, pg-boss, Vitest, Docker, Strava API, Overpass API, Mapbox API
Interactive web application featuring a custom lightweight JSON database and a JavaScript-based conversational engine that parses user prompts and returns contextual responses using pattern matching.
Tech: JavaScript, Custom JSON DB, DOM Manipulation
Open-source collaborative web game designed to give fellow Software Engineering students a hands-on collaborative coding experience. Led the project: defined feature scope, reviewed contributions, resolved merge conflicts, and maintained code quality.
Tech: JavaScript, Canvas API, Git workflows
All-in-one project management SaaS platform with real-time video conferencing, live chat, task management, and collaborative workspaces. Sole developer, building the entire application from co-founder's Figma designs. Integrated Stripe for subscription billing and Twilio for real-time communication.
Tech: React, Redux, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Redis, WebSockets, Twilio, Stripe, AWS, Firebase
Designed and built a 6-axis IMU-based stabilisation module for real-time attitude correction in model rockets. Computes corrective outputs to counteract roll, pitch, and yaw deviations during flight. Functional prototype, bench tested.
Tech: IMU sensors, embedded programming, sensor fusion, PID control, Fusion 360
Designed a fixed-wing UAV for security surveillance applications. Airframe modelling in Fusion 360 and SolidWorks, sensor payload planning, and research into autonomous navigation (GPS waypoint following, return-to-home logic). Design stage.
Tech: Fusion 360, SolidWorks, flight controller research

π‘ Open to opportunities: I'm seeking graduate and professional roles in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, and technical consulting. I learn fast, I've shipped real products, and I bring experience across the full stack, from AI model training to real-time communication systems to hardware prototyping.
