Is this project still maintained? #52

Hi @evanw, thanks for ThumbHash. We use it through a PHP port in a TYPO3 extension.

The last commit was in January 2024. Since then, 11 issues and 16 pull requests are still open. Is the project still maintained, or is it abandoned?

If you think the algorithm is finished, a short note in the README would help. If you want help, would you add co-maintainers who can review and merge pull requests? If you don't plan to work on it anymore, is there a fork you would recommend?

Thanks.
