What do you want to change?
I noticed that after #7493 added AI_AGENT=pi, it’s documented in the coding-agent README but still missing from docs/environment-variables.md, where the Process Marker section only mentions PI_CODING_AGENT=true.
Why?
Adding it there would keep the dedicated environment variable docs consistent with the README and make the difference between the two process markers clearer.
How? (optional)
Add a short AI_AGENT=pi entry to the Process Marker section and briefly explain how it differs from PI_CODING_AGENT. I’d be happy to make this small docs update.
