It's annoying that the MetricsView creates glyphs if you type one that doesn't exist, and it shouldn't do that #4655

   The HarfBuzz backend for Metrics View uses .notdef for all missing characters. The legacy built-in shaper shows the missing glyphs, but doesn't actually create them anymore. Fixed in #5522
