Has the SOLR branch been merged? Should we still keep this open? I like the cleanup idea. Maybe we can redo this? Following this as a guide, it shouldn't be that complicated, right? |

This PR clean up services and keep only those used by the Angular apps (and for the time being also preserve XML API). This is also related to the API proposal http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Draft-proposal-for-a-GN-API-td5252273.html.
