• Read the o'reilly book up to chapter 5, page 55 "Creating your realm"
• Read then this kdc.conf/marsel.is.kdc.conf
• Read then the krb5.conf here
• Go back and finish the book
• Curse the developers, who, yeah, they did the best they have with what they had at the time but have not done better ever since
• 10 billion dollar institution cannot afford to put effort into fixing its own software....
