In addition to the official Git Extensions releases, there are more regular builds available to use.

These builds:

• Come straight from the continuous integration (CI) server.
• Are .zip files (no installer), 'portable' format.
• Are not guaranteed to even work, so use at your own risk!

There are two streams for builds:

• master contains improvements intended for the next major release (3.2.0), though has the highest chance of bugs. (Mono is not supported.)
• 3.1.x contains bug fixes intended for the next incremental release. (Windows only)
• 2.51.x contains bug fixes intended for the next incremental release. (Windows and Mono)
