This is clearly related to a change on Google's end, they seem to no longer return events in a stable order, which messes up homepage. We'll be able to handle it. The change is in |

This is happening in v1.6.1 too. In my case, the iCal feed is from Google Calendar. The widget is working in every respect except for the duplicate events added at short intervals (seconds). With The behaviour is recent. As recently as a couple of days ago, the widget was not misbehaving in this way. I did recently update to v1.6.1 from v1.5.0, but I can't say that this is the reason, as downgrading and force-recreating at tag v1.5 or even v1.4 does not correct the problem. I can add that this is happening in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. And I am not currently using a custom.css file that might mess with the page. I too am running Homepage in Docker. Finally, I can also add that I spun up a brand new container with defaults everywhere, adding only the following: - My First Group:
- Calendar:
- Google:
widget:
type: calendar
firstDayInWeek: sunday
view: monthly
maxEvents: 10
showTime: true
integrations:
- type: ical
url: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/[REDACTED]/basic.ics
name: Event
params:
showName: falseEvents are still being duplicated. |
