Description

I'm trying to set up a YourSpotify widget on my homepage, but I'm getting an "API Error: Invalid data" response. The error suggests I need to enable JavaScript, but JavaScript is already enabled in my browser. The API is returning HTML content instead of the expected JSON data.

Troubleshooting

Verified JavaScript is enabled in browser

Confirmed the API endpoint matches YourSpotify documentation

Tested different URL structures:

    Direct endpoint: /spotify/songs_per

    With /api/ prefix: /api/spotify/songs_per

Checked that the token is properly appended as a query parameter

I was having the same issue and error when using the CLIENT_ENDPOINT (default port 8080) environment variable defined in your_spotify docker compose file as the widget URL, changed the URL to API_ENDPOINT(default port 3000) and now the widget is working.

Yeah this is the most likely issue.
Changing the port in the widget config URL to the one specified in the API_ENDPOINT in your_spotify Docker Compose file should help fix it.
Seems like a configuration issue, not a bug or code issue.
